One of our staff families at K-Kaua’i Family Kamp It is one of the best kept secrets out there for summertime. Family Camp, that is. If you’ve ever been to a Family Camp then you know exactly what I mean. If you haven’t, then you have no idea what you’re missing. Where else can a mom have a true vacation and bring her family along? Where can parents go on vacation and have time by themselves while the kids are being nurtured, entertained to the max and learning about how much God loves them? And what other vacation spot can you go to where their main goal is draw you and your family closer to God by refreshing your body as well as your soul? Great food; no cleaning or laundry to do; incredible family bonding activities; beautiful, peaceful places for reflection and relaxing; and counselors that are there to serve your family in whatever way they can. That’s Family Camp in a nutshell. We just spent a week at K-Kaua’i, Kanakuk’s Family Camp in Branson, MO and had a blast going through the Raising Truly Great Kids conference material with the parent campers. We have two more Family Camps to speak at this summer and we are going to have even more fun at Pine Cove and Cannon Beach because our grand daughters are coming with us.
