D6 Conference Download
Tim and Darcy had a great time at the D6 conference in Dallas, TX last week! D6 is a conference for children and family ministers that is based on Deuteronomy 6:6-7 which says:
“6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
Children’s and Family pastors from all over the US and Canada come together to receive encouragement, training and resources to help them in their ministry efforts. Family Matters felt this was the perfect time to unveil our Family Map, which is a comprehensive family ministry strategy for churches. Here’s what one pastor had to say about the new resource:
“Tim, By now, I’m guessing you’ve made your way back to Scottsdale after the D6 conference. One of our pastors was with you for a good portion of the day in your breakout sessions. Because the work you put into the strategy for the Family Land Map and explanatory documents you walked us through are such good material, our pastoral staff will begin working this through ourselves. At this point, one thing we can unequivocally say is thank you.
