Thank You Matters

{originally published in 2012} I have long been a fan of Family Matters and not just because what I read on their website is so helpful, though that’s a great reason to be a fan! It’s also because I have met and hung out with Tim and Darcy and what I can tell you is they are genuine, loving, others focused and filled with Godly wisdom they joyfully share with others…because they know they are called to do so. When I first read Raising Children for True Greatness I found myself nodding my head constantly and underlining and highlighting sentence after sentence.  I attended one of their Grace Based Parenting seminars and have consistently used all that I learned from them in my daily parenting. Strangely I felt compelled to tell you this because I wanted to publically thank them for the ministry they have done in my life and my children’s lives. My husband and I are raising Children for True Greatness partly because of the truth spoken into us by Tim and Darcy. I am now going to give you a challenge. Many people who are called by the Lord to serve others for His Kingdom purposes sometimes never know the lives they have touched and impacted. Would you take fifteen minutes today and send a some e-mail messages, text messages or good old fashioned thank you notes to a few people who have impacted your life for what you can clearly see now were God’s purposes? Thank you matters!
