31 Days of Prayer for your Spouse {Day 28 :: Gratitude}
Gratitude
“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Let’s be honest here; life isn’t always easy. It’s not always easy to stay joyful, it’s not always easy to trust the Lord, and it’s definitely not always easy to be thankful in every aspect of your life. However, where in the Bible does it say that our lives as Christians are SUPPOSED to be easy? Just because God gave us His only Son does not mean that He promised us an easy life – He promised us an everlasting life. And THAT is something to be grateful for. Today I encourage you to write at least five things down that you are grateful for. Big or small. Share these with your spouse, and who knows – maybe that spouse is on that list somewhere.
