Are You A Hokey Pokey Parent!!?!
When I was a “tween”, one of my favorite things in the whole world was to go to SkateLand Skate Center in Duncanville, Tx!! That’s right baby! I would put on my double reinforced knee tough skins. I would slide on my v-neck velour shirt and securely fasten my “old skool” lucky rabbits foot to my belt loop! I was ready to roll! Every Friday night was full of pinball, skate races, Air Supply, Men At Work, Devo, the awkward couple skate and the HOKEY POKEY!!

Join in and sing it with me… As I started studying the lyrics to this ridiculous song, it hit me!! Most of us are what I would call…
HOKEY POKEY PARENTS!!
We put our right hand in, sometimes we put our left foot in, other times we put our butt in…but the last verse of the HOKEY POKEY reveals what God has called us to!!!

I don’t know about you, but I am tired of HOKEY POKEY PARENTS! God has called us to raise world changers! God has called us to protect our kids’ hearts! God has called us to speak life and empower our children! God has called us to raise powerful men and women of God!! PARENTS!! Today is the day that you must begin putting your “whole self” in!! Would love to hear your confession today? Are you a HOKEY POKEY parent?
